FAR is a platform for architecture and design. It’s aim is to exchange knowledge between China and the rest of the world and to contribute to a worldwide discussion on (sustainable) architecture, urbanism and design. It provides a platform for collaboration in China, with a focus on Shanghai.
Project
Initiated: 2008, ongoing. Logo, visual identity and web site.
Outcome
Studio Dumbar created the logo and visual identity for FAR. The logo has a characteristic diagonal cut through that divides the type and creates a space, a void. That same diagonal is used as a pattern and appears as cut off corners.
Stationery and printed matter were developed as well as database driven web site with Content Management System. This CMS makes it easy to upload and alter information on the client side, without any technical web knowledge needed.
