Studio Dumbar China is a design agency located in Shanghai and established as a joint venture of the award winning design agency Studio Dumbar in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Our studio creates corporate, graphic, environmental and interactive design for national and international companies in the private, public or cultural sector. The Senior Designer will be responsible for the adequate process of creating, developing and realizing design concepts. Tasks will employ you to formulate and control the realization of multiple design assignments individually and as part of a team. Experience in interactive and user experienced design as well as understanding and knowledge of technical possibilities will be preferred. In all projects you will be part of a team that strives to find the right balance between business objectives, brand values and raw creativity.

The business development manager will work closely with the management team to initiate and manage new business activity and their business development, proactively presenting high quality design and branding proposals to prospective clients. Key responsibilities will be to actively identify and convert new business approaches, bringing in aspirational accounts to our design business. Proven new business development/sales experience within design/branding/marketing or other communication professions is essential.
