In 1977 Gert Dumbar founded Studio Dumbar in The Netherlands. It has earned an international reputation for outstanding work in the field of graphic design, branding and visual communication, and won numerous international design prizes. In 2005 Studio Dumbar China came to life as a joint venture with Studio Dumbar.
